Author
As an author, I educate parents and professionals on how to create happy, healthy homes for children
Mediator
As a mediator, I combine skilled negotiation with creative problem-solving techniques to help parties reach innovative and long-term solutions to their family law issues.
Parent Facilitator/Coordinator
As a Parenting Facilitator/Coordinator I work passionately with high-conflict parents to reduce tension between the parents and provide them with tools to build an emotionally safe and physically comforting environment for their children.
Family Law Attorney
As a lawyer, I provide my clients with strategic and sound legal advice. I equip my clients with the skills they need to empower themselves as they navigate the unchartered waters of divorce, child custody, modifications, and enforcement matters.
About Me
I reside in Georgetown, Texas with my husband, Jim, and our (combined) five children (Ava, Tavan, Asher, Cooper, and Rylan). As the founder and owner of Presswood Law, Presswood Resolutions, and The Co-Parenting Project, I have the privilege to work with parents and professionals within the family law context.
As a divorced mother, I understand how beneficial a parent coordinator can be in diffusing high levels of tension. However, as a lawyer, I have seen both sides of litigation and how it ruins relationships and drains both parties’ bank accounts. This creates a dynamic that’s high-conflict and is as frustrating as exhausting, which is why I have made it my mission to provide my parents with the skills to empower their families and themselves through difficult circumstances.

Who I Serve Primarily
I work with parents who are looking for representation when it comes to their family law matters, or they need help with high-stress conflict resolutions. As a mother and an attorney, I have seen how the conflict in families creates situations that are not only stressful for the parents but also the children. My goal is to find solutions that work for all parties involved while also putting the needs of the children first.
